Madison Burkott, M.S.

Madison Burkott is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley in 2023.

Madison is trained in vocational rehabilitation and working with the disabled population. She is fluent in American Sign Language. She has experience working with people of all ages through individual counseling and group counseling.

Madison has years of experience working as a school counselor. Madison aided in emotional, social, and academic support in the school setting to adolescents. She was an advocate for the students she worked with assisting in their personal goals and improving their well-being.

Madison believes that each individual is unique with unique needs. Madison works to assist her clients in their personal growth and development using counseling modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.

Madison has experience leading group counseling and working with marriage, couples, and families to improve communication and connection in relationships. Madison is trained in skills to work with trauma and neurodevelopmental issues with children. She completed the American Counseling Association certificate in Counseling Interventions and Evidence-Based Treatment for Specific Issues with Children and Youth in 2025.
